Prime Coat
Many jobs require that the product is field painted. Dowco offers an alkyd prime coat for any product surface where field painting is required. To help prevent paint failure, it is recommended that the field topcoat be applied within 30 DAYS of application after the product has been thoroughly field cleaned.

Long-lasting Acrylic Enamel is a cost effective finish that is resistant to weathering and corrosion making it a superior coating for commercial and industrial applications.

Kynar 500
Kynar 500 Fluoropolymer coating is one of the leading architectural coatings for aluminum products providing long life color retention, good adhesion and strong resistance to chalking, fading, or chemical abrasion. 5 year warranties are available upon request. The warranty does not apply to galvanized products.

Color Anodize
Color anodize becomes an integral part of the surface when the color finish is applied electrochemically on chemically clean aluminum to a minimum surface depth of 0.7 mil. Color anodize is specified by Aluminum Association Number AA-C22A44 Shade variation may occur between batches and when applied to various alloys.

Clear Anodize
Clear anodize is a pre-oxidizing process applied to an aluminum surface to provide a uniform finish not easily affected bv natural oxidizing. Conditions affecting the natural oxidizing are smog, chemical fumes. weather, etc.

204-RI is a 30 minute treatment providing a 0.4 mil minimum clear coating, It is identified by Aluminum Association Code Number AA-C22A31.

215-Rl is a 60 minute treatment providing a 0.7 mil minimum clear coating. It is identified by AluminumAssociation Code Number AA-C22A41.
